Registering a Local Complaint

While the AHCA is well equipped to help you resolve a complaint, we want to reiterate that first, the complaint must be communicated through the proper channels.

Graffiti starts with 311 and 911.

For graffiti in progress, call 911. For graffiti that you discover, call 311 and get a service record number.

For everything else, your first call should be to your Ward Superintendent.

Then, escalate to your alderman, or the alderman of the area concerning the complaint.

NOTE: We list out the Ward Supers’, as well as the aldermen’s, contact info in our monthly newsletter for easy reference.

Ward Supers can be reached at 312/747-9980.

THEN, if you still aren’t getting a resolution, escalate to AHCA.
