This annual raffle is our one and only fundraiser where we ask all of our members to help support our civic association and is the principle way we fund our community group for the year ahead. We really do need ALL of our members to participate.
Many people think that the annual $15.00 in dues are the way we fund the association, and that is simply not the case. Dues only help to offset the cost of the newsletter, and even at that, they do not cover the full 10 months of newsletters. The raffle subsidizes the shortfall, and ensures that we keep our members properly informed of the goings-on in Archer Heights. In addition, for many years, our civic association has had some strong programs that help reach out to the youth in the community. So we thank you for your participation in this year’s raffle and look forward to seeing you in person at our next meeting on Wednesday, January 10th!
Happy holidays, everyone.
